I'm on the hunt for more ways to have fun at work.

If you contribute and the contribution is chosen for the book, you will receive the new book, plus, all five of my previous books.

Thanks! Leslie

It's very simple: I'd like you to contribute to my next book, 101 Ways to Have Fun At Work. It will be published by Simple Truths later this year.

Fourteen years have flown by since my first book, 301 Ways to have Fun At Work became a bestseller by anthologizing the various ways people actually have fun while 'on the job.' I still remember the years I spend asking just about everybody I encountered,

"How do you have fun at work?"

"Do you have a great story about the most fun you ever had at work?"

Almost everybody I asked, even if I had to press some a bit, came up with a memory, or an idea, or an observation, or a description of how fun, creativity, a positive attitude, and, enthusiastic teamwork come about at work.

I'm back on the same trail, looking again for more ways people have fun at work. The book will be an update, and I'd like to fill it with the new ways people have fun at work.

Fourteen years later, my own experience informs a much more profound conception about fun and work. What I've come to understand is that the most advanced work cultures join their requirement for high performance to work cultures which are literally built to support, and guided to realize, human potential.

In my research and through my work, I have found over and over that fun, enjoyment, innovation and optimism are the natural by-products of performance wedded to positive work culture.

If a person enjoys going to work, loves the work they do, it is almost always the case that the human environment aligns with those results.

101 Ways to Have Fun at Work is all about the best ways people have come up with to inspire and reinforce this kind of alignment. Fourteen years later, I'm looking to capture what people do at work to ensure the daily quotient of enjoyment, fun, creativity, friendship, humor, teamwork, humanity and, any other positive result, is realized.

step11Wanted: how you really have fun at work!
